Embodied in Art
Note from the Artist
Art is a powerful form of healing, weaving together stories of strength and vulnerability. Through multimedia collections of art, poetry and music, immersive emotional narratives emerge, bridging the gap between the visible world and the unseen depths within us.
My art practice explores self-portraiture of the body, challenging societal norms surrounding the female form whilst fostering discussions on mental and physical health. At it’s core, my work is storytelling, using the arts as a means of healing and self-discovery.
My first collection, The Space Between (2024-2025), explores a journey from heartbreak to healing, reflecting on grief. Future collections, currently in development, will explore the relationship between nature and mental wellbeing, as well as the therapeutic benefits of the arts in supporting women’s health.
Each collection is designed to bravely and authentically capture the transformations women experience throughout their lives. Their narratives are inspired by my personal experiences, psychological concepts and evolving societal discourses - whether emerging through research, social media or public conversation.
This project is intended to endure a lifetime, championing the arts as a holistic approach to healing and women empowerment. Each collection is, and will continue to be, crafted to challenge perspectives, amplify women’s voices, and inspire others to embrace their own narratives and bodies with courage and authenticity.
